Kenya replaced visas with the Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA) in 2024. Here's how Pakistani travellers apply, what documents are needed and how long approval takes.
Since January 2024 Kenya no longer issues traditional visitor visas to most nationalities — including Pakistanis. Instead, every traveller needs an approved Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA) before boarding a flight to Kenya.
Where to Apply
The only official application website is etakenya.go.ke. Be careful with look-alike websites that charge extra. O.S Travel & Tours applies on the official portal on your behalf.
Documents for the Kenya eTA
- Passport valid for at least 6 months with one blank page
- Recent passport-style photo
- Return or onward flight booking
- Hotel booking or the address of your host in Kenya
- Contact email and phone number
Processing Time & Validity
Kenya's immigration department aims to process eTAs within about three working days. The eTA is valid for a single entry within 90 days of approval. Apply at least two weeks before you travel.
Health Requirements
Yellow fever vaccination is recommended for Kenya and is required if you are arriving from or transiting through a yellow-fever-risk country. Carry your vaccination card in your hand luggage.
Our Kenya eTA Service
O.S Travel & Tours processes the Kenya eTA for Rs 25,000 — send your scans on WhatsApp and we handle the rest, including flights on Kenya Airways, Emirates, Qatar Airways or Ethiopian Airlines.
